Fresh Look for a Fresh Season: Sunday Senior Team Revamps Hood Park Dugouts
As we usher in a new season of football, Ashby United's Sunday Senior team took the initiative to give the Hood Park dugouts a much-needed makeover. Armed with paint and brushes, the team added a fresh coat of paint, transforming the dugouts into a vibrant space.
A Community Effort
"This wasn't just about beautifying the space; it was a gesture of community spirit," said the team captain. "Hood Park is where we play, where we train, and where we cheer each other on. Giving it a fresh look was the least we could do to contribute to the ground that gives us so much."
Preparing for the Season
The dugout revamp comes just in time for the new season, setting a positive atmosphere for the upcoming games. "We wanted to kickstart the season on a high note, and what better way to do it than giving our home turf a little TLC," added Phil Windridge, the coach of the Sunday Senior team.
Spreading the Spirit
As a club, Ashby United always strives for community involvement and improvements, both on and off the pitch. The freshly painted dugouts are a testament to this commitment and symbolise the enthusiasm and dedication that we aim to bring into the new season.
